Bio
I attended law school at Cardiff University and am a former attorney and literary agent.
A Son Called Gabriel (republished by Pegasus Books) is set during the Irish Troubles and was an American Booksellers Association Book Sense Pick and a finalist in the Lambda Literary Awards and ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Awards. My screenplay of the novel was a quarterfinalist in the Nicholls Fellowships in Screenwriting. The Moment of Truth was chosen as Houston Chronicle’s 10 Books to Read. Some of my nonfiction has been published in the Huffington Post.
I’ve appeared on CBS, WYBE Public Television and Philadelphia’s WHYY radio among other outlets in addition to speaking at writing conferences, Vermont’s Goddard College and various high schools about my work. If you’ve purchased any of my novels, thank you and please consider writing a line or two about your thoughts on Goodreads or wherever you buy your books.
I live in Bucks County, PA and working on short stories and a new novel.
